We have recently moved into our beautiful new home.  We found it thanks to Rae Wakelin.  Last year after spending weeks on the phone with another realtor and finally going to look at properties with him which didn’t fit our criteria in size or location, we were ready for a change.  We had heard of Rae through a friend and decided to give her a call.  She called back immediately, really within minutes, and had a list of properties within a day which met our criteria.  She also set us up on a website which gave us the opportunity to look at pictures and details of the property before we ever saw them.   Within 2 days of our first call we were ready to look at properties.  Within the first day of looking at properties we had seen 2 we were extremely interested in.  Rae patiently took us to see many other homes we wanted to look at while we decided what to do.  She was knowledgeable on neighborhoods we visited, both past history and current listings and sales. When we went to condominiums she could give us the history of them as well.   We decided to wait and see what would happen to the real estate market in the Naples/Bonita Springs area.  We kept in touch with Rae and could keep up to date because of the website she had provided.  The website helped to refresh our memories of each property.  Several months later we decided we were ready to buy.  We looked at properties again.  We still loved 2 of the first places she had taken us to see.  While it took us awhile to decide which of the 2 we would purchase Rae patiently helped us with pros and cons, statistics, and current information on the real estate market in general and the neighborhoods in detail.  We ended up making the right decision and Rae helped us maneuver the offer through to the closing.  Most of that was done long distance, but that was never an issue.  We really felt that Rae was there to help us with each step in the process.  I would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a home in the Naples/Bonita Springs area.

 

Georgia and I had asked Rae Wakelin from Amerivest Realty in Naples FL to help us find property, which would meet our requirements: specifically our budget, and a convenient location. Our communication with Rae was done over a year’s period of time by telephone and internet. The reason for this was that we lived in New Hampshire and were unable to visit Naples to view properties for sale.
 Rae became our trusted eyes and her invaluable knowledge of the area, plus her many years of experience as a buyer’s agent was successful in finding us our condo.
 Rae represented us in the negotiations, which included our buying furniture from the seller, negotiating with the seller’s agent, being present for and asking questions about items on the Home Inspection Report. She made arrangements to have our air conditioning unit  charged, having a new lock put on our front door, and putting a key to our home on the night we were to arrive,  so we did not have to spend a night in a hotel. She also wanted to be present when we arrived to let us in to our new place as we bought it, sight unseen.
Rae proved to be very trustworthy to fulfill our requirements and even exceeded them! Our new home in Naples shocked and surprised us because it was more than perfect for us and it was all through the efforts and patience of Rae Wakelin.
